Passion forged at the academy of Mechelen
Creativity has flowed through my veins from an early age.During my youth,i attended the art academy in Mechelen, where i immersed myself in classical drawing and oil painting. That solid artistic foundation has fostered a lifelong passion for composition, form, and expression.
The discovery of the digital brushstroke...
Since my attic is now completely filled with traditional canvases,i recently decided to explore new horizons. The switch to digital painting opened up a fascinating world where the possibilities are truly endless.Without limitations in space,i can experiment with rich textures, deep tones, and new techniques.
Line play,vibrant colors and emotion
My work is not merely about a recognizable subject, but above all about the energy that a work radiates.through a thoughtful interplay of flowing lines and warm colors,i aim to create images that continue to intrigue and provide the viewer with a positive state of mind, day after day.
"The subject is subordinate to the interplay of lines and color.A good work of art should above all invite you to keep looking and leave behind a warm feeling
